Description
The Shimano B03S's are organic resin brake pads that replace the well-known Shimano B01S brake pads. Compared to their B01S predecessor, these B03S brake pads last longer, while their braking power and modulation is still just as good.
Good modulation and braking power
Organic brake pads are made of soft materials. They are easy to modulate and provide good braking power. Due to the soft compound, this block also grips quickly. The organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise while cycling. The disadvantage of organic brake pads is that they are less resistant to higher temperatures, which can occur during very long descents. Also, organic brake pads wear faster if you cycle a lot in muddy conditions. So if you ride a lot in wet conditions, you should look at Shimano D fit brake pads with a metal or semi-metal compound.
Note:
Manufacturers use different fits. So pay close attention to whether the shape of the brake pad in the image corresponds to your current brake pad. If you don't know what shape you have, scroll down to the bottom of this page. There is a description for each brake block and which type of brake it is suitable for.
This brake pad has the Shimano D fit. If you are looking for an alternative, or if this brake pad is sold out, you can order alternative brake pads here.

It is essential that you break in your brake pads after fitting them. When the pads have been properly broken in, they will last longer, brake better and squeak less.Reviews
