The all new Scott Contessa Addict 25 brings speed and comfort together to be a high-quality road bike for sports-minded women.

This road bike was developed mainly with endurance and long rides in mind. In recent years, however, it has become much livelier and faster to let you eat up the kilometres quickly and comfortably.

Addict is Scott's endurance series. This series has been designed in such a way that you, as a cyclist, can stay in the saddle for a long time. In recent years Scott has started working with the Evo-Lap technology, which has resulted in a very lightweight and stiff carbon frame. This leads not only to more comfort, but also to more speed and more responsive handling. On this road bike you won't see any cables; these are integrated into the frame, where they are well protected against precipitation so that they last longer. In addition, the carbon front fork absorbs the worst bumps in the road excellently.
Shifting and braking
The Contessa Addict 25 is equipped with the Shimano 105 groupset, which is known for its reliability and long life. You have 22 gears at your disposal and an 11/34 cassette. This gives you a large gear range that also allows you to make lovely rides in mountainous areas. For braking the Addict 25 has Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, which are known for their enormous braking power on dry as well as wet roads. They are also extremely easy to modulate, allowing you to steer through the bends safely and with precision.
Go tubeless?
Just as many other Scott bikes, this Scott Contessa has Syncros wheels. Syncros wheels offer an ideal balance between low weight and aerodynamics. They can also be used tubeless; this only requires some minor adjustments. The advantages of tubeless riding include high puncture resistance and low rolling resistance.
