The frame of the Scott Addict RC 15 is made of very lightweight and stiff carbon, which makes for active and responsive handling. The cables run through the frame, which not only enhances aerodynamics but also protects the cables from dirt and precipitation. This road bike also comes with a carbon fork, which absorbs bumps and potholes well so you can ride with optimal control even at high speeds.
Electronic shifting
For gear shifting, the Addict RC 15 road bike has the new Shimano Ultegra group, which shifts smoothly and quickly, and is very durable. The electronic gear mechanism makes shifting even faster and more accurate, and performs reliably even in tough conditions. The bike comes with 24 gears and an 11-30 cassette to ensure a fine shifting range that enables you to truly unleash your power! For braking you have Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, which deliver high braking power in good as well as bad conditions. These brakes are easy to modulate to give you a great sense of control.
Aerodynamic wheelset
The wheels on this road bike are the Syncros Capital 1.0 with a 35 mm rim height, which makes them very suitable for climbing. The rims are tubeless ready to offer you the possibility to ride tubeless after making some minor adjustments. Tubeless riding reduces rolling resistance and increases puncture protection; with a tubeless setup it is highly unlikely that you get stranded by the roadside with a flat tyre.
