Description
The Scott Active 20 is an excellent choice if you love taking on the dirt adventure.
Comfortable ripping
The Scott Active combines speed with comfort. Solid gearing, excellent brakes and suspension elements will give you very enjoyable rides.
It all starts for this mountain bike with the aluminium frame, through which the cables run internally. The lightweight aluminium frame provides excellent handling, allowing you to steer into corners with precision. Suspension is very important when riding over dirt roads, which is why Scott has fitted a Suntour front fork with lock-out. Lock-out gives you the option to block the suspension travel while riding. This is very useful on asphalt, where you need much less suspension. This way, you ride as efficiently as possible at all times.
Deore groupset
Gear shifting is via the Shimano Deore groupset. This group is very common on mountain bikes and shifts properly. The MTB comes with 20 gears and an 11-42 cassette. This gives you a huge gear range, so that even steeper trails can be climbed in a pleasant gear. Braking is done with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These brakes excel with their enormous braking power, even in poor conditions. In addition, these brakes are excellent for modulating, so you will come down safely everywhere.
