I spent a long time considering whether I should put a Dura Ace chain on my 105, but nothing else for me. After all, the price difference isn't too bad either for how long you ride with it

Super nice chain. Had a kmc and find that it is very stiff. And that one made a lot of noise. This chain shifts very smoothly and is very quiet.

Use these a lot in rentals and hold up very well on electric mountain bikes. Fortunately through mantle often still available.

It doesn't get any better than this; but would I notice the difference with an Ultegra chain? Oh well, the chain lasts (for me) more than 7,000 km, who knows, I might be a little bit faster with that ten/15 euros more and that may cost something.

For me Dura ace chain is an improvement over ultegra . I also use it on my mtb for XT group and on gravel bike on GRX 600 group . perfect !!!

Mn chain broke, no time for bike shop. So I bought it myself, with tools. Never done it before, but went pretty easy. Chain really much better than previous one - another shimano. Bike rides noticeably lighter and shifts smoother. Didn't know the difference could be that big.

Since returning to road cycling, my chains have always been Shimano HG-901 Dura-Ace 11-speed, with Quick Link. Their machining quality and service life (changed after about 8,000 km, more as a precaution than out of any real need) bear witness to the excellence of this equipment, as always with top-of-the-range SHIMANO products.
