My road bike had blown over. To the naked eye, you could not see that the rear derailleur was no longer straight. It was noticeable when shifting gears. Proper adjustment was not possible. After the pad was adjusted with the tool, shifting is back to normal.

Just not good enough

I ordered this derailleur pad straightener for my folding bike. To bend/correct the pad in all directions, the luggage rack is in the way. Moreover, not suitable for 20" wheels. With a little more thought in design, perhaps this tool would be suitable for all bikes.
