Thin and really penetrates deep into the chain. I actually use it for all kinds of things, even in my bike frame but also to protect metal of my garden furniture from rust etc with it. Top product!

Had been using wax for a long time but thought I'd try this given the good reviews. Wow! I commute in the winter here in Sweden which means lots of salt and dirt and snowy conditions. With wax lubricants I had to reapply every day. So far with Boeshield I lubricate once a week and the chain stays attracts very little grime compared to wet lubes. Highly recommend trying this, just remember to apply to a clean chain and let it set in overnight.

Have tried several brands. Big brands, too. I have tested wax and tested oil. But this stuff is something very special. It starts as early as 10min after application. The dirt and water hanging on the chain or other pivots just runs off. What remains is a thin oil with a wax layer around it. TOP product. Well worth the price. Unlike squirt, the chain stays clean and smooth. Very little needed for a well protected chain. No rust after rain and cleaning.

I have been working with this for years. For me, nothing else. If you apply this product the right way, your chain will continue to work well in all conditions. I cycle all year round. Apply, let it soak in for a few hours, wipe off with a clean, dry cloth before riding.

Very good lubrication for the chain in wet and dry weather. Do apply at least day before cycling. Chain and sprockets last much longer and is definitely recommended for more expensive cranksets.

Following numerous good reviews, I bought this product to lubricate my chain. It applies nicely and does not feel greasy. It does not pick up dirt so the chain stays reasonably clean. After 2 mtb rides in the dry forest I did notice that the chain started to make some noise again. So I had to reapply it pretty quickly.

Applies easily. No chain creaking. After 2 hours of cycling in the rain the bike was sprayed clean with the garden hose. The next day rust on the chain.
