Description

Description

The Pro Discover Medium Flare bars are designed to make your longer rides on gravel, forestry roads and tar more comfortable. The tops of these bars have been given an ergonomic shape which keeps your hands comfortable during rides. The drops are compact with a slight outward flare (12 degrees). This makes the rider position in the drops very comfortable, and makes technical sections and descents a breeze.

Technology

Sturdy materials, Di2 integration
The 6061 aluminium which these bars are made from is sturdy and gives them a good price/quality ratio. They are also suitable for use with Di2 cabling. At the bottom of the bars there is a hole for internal cable routing, which gets rid of annoying loose cabling, giving your bike's cockpit a clean, neat look.

If 80% is just asphalt better use this kind of wheel

- Olaf 26 September 2023

I had put a real gravel handlebar on the gravel with a big flair and at the bottom it was 60cm wide also couldn't ride in the drops at all and felt very slow. Now bought a 40cm and it rides very smooth and fast

Pros & Cons

Bit of flair is more Race and Aero but very nice
Short drop change hand positions are small
Alu is stiffer than Carbon
Saddle also had to be adjusted slightly
Shorter seat, usually need different stem

5 / 5

Very comfortable hand positions.

- Anonyme 17 May 2023

The ergonomics of a coat hanger are really subjective. But for me, this hanger is perfect: all positions are pleasant, the compact format is very pleasant and invites us to change hand positions regularly, without totally changing our posture (back). Don't hesitate to change hanger (after a postural study, for example). In my case, 2cm less width (with a stem 1 cm shorter) drastically changes comfort on the bike.

Good price for a perfect steering wheel. Perfect for me at least.

- Sander 12 September 2022

The small turn took minimal getting used to and the little flair is optimal: I quickly change from on top to in the brackets; just nice those two inches to the sides. This inexpensive handlebar has replaced my expensive and too wide aero handlebars with verve.
