The frame of the Avanti 3 is made of aluminium, which allows this bike to remain light. Because of this, and the 50 mm wide tyres, this children's bike does handle very nicely and sportily. These wide tyres also ensure that many bumps are easily cushioned. The suspended front fork further aids this. This way, the Avanti does ride very nicely.
Reliable shifting and braking
A low-maintenance internal hub gear is fitted to the Avanti 3 20". This gives you 3 gears. This allows you to quickly and easily choose the best gear for your situation. For long rides over tougher terrain, this might be a bit low, but for daily rides through village, city and countryside, this is more than enough. The V-brakes on this bike are easy to dose, so you can brake more gently or harder yourself.
Safe on the road
To be safe on the road, Pegasus has equipped the Avanti models with good lighting. And of course, a bell shouldn't be missing either, so you can let your daughter into traffic safely. And should she want to take a bag with her, for example to school or sport, it's no problem with the luggage carrier.
