Description

The Maxxis Dissector 3C MaxxTerra EXO TR is the specialised downhill tyre of Australian mountain biker Troy Brosnan. The name says it all, really: the Dissector is designed to cut through the corners with surgical precision. The Dissector performs best on fast and dry courses with hard or loose surfaces. It is suitable for use as a rear tyre or a set in downhill mountain biking and as a front tyre in enduro riding.

Technology

3C MaxxTerra
The 3C MaxxTerra is the intermediate compound in terms of hardness of Maxxis' Triple Maxx Compounds. The 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than MaxxSpeed, and is more durable and faster than MaxxGrip. This gives you the best of both worlds.

EXO Protection
EXO Protection refers to a hardwearing protective layer in the tyre's sidewall. This layer offers excellent protection against cuts from the sides. The densely woven material keeps the tyre's weight low and its flexibility extremely high, ensuring that the tyre's performance remains unaffected.

Tubeless Ready
The Maxxis Dissector 3C MaxxTerra EXO TR tyre is ready for tubeless riding, that is, it can be used without an inner tube. This has many important advantages such as lower rolling resistance, higher grip, more control and more comfort.

I've been a fan of Maxxis tyres for some time and mostly used the Maxxis assegai and loved them. I thought I'd give the Maxxis Dissector a go and WoW they've blown me away on how good they are in the dry weather conditions. Very fast rolling and the corner grip is incredible. I will most defiantly be buying them again. Five star from me.
