Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • These pedals offer excellent grip for shoes with smooth(er) soles.

Description

Description

With their two-sided design, the Look Geo Trekking Grip pedals are robust and practical, so you don't have to change pedals between a training ride and a commute!

Two-sided design for the sporty commuter
The Look Geo Trekking Grip pedals have two different sides, allowing you to use them equally easily with clipless cycling shoes and casual shoes. On one side there is a Shimano SPD-compatible mechanism, on the other a flat profile for your regular shoes. This makes these pedals very versatile!

The flat side is finished with an elastomer grip for increased grip for regular shoes. This rubbery profile has been designed for a maximised contact area with grooves for water and dirt. So, you don't have to worry about having insufficient grip on your pedals with casual shoes!

Practical and minimalist design
The Look Geo Trekking Grip pedals come with an adjustable torsion system as standard, so you can control how tightly your shoes are clipped in and how much effort it costs to clip out. The pedal body is made of a composite material, bringing the weight to a relatively light 228 grams.

Good power transfer, smoothly running bearings
The Look Geo Trekking Grip pedal has a composite body for increased stiffness and enhanced power transfer. The surface of the flat side is large and you have plenty of grip on it, giving you excellent support while cycling. In addition, these pedals have smooth and well-sealed bearings and, therefore, last long.

The pedal set should be fitted with a large sized socket. Larger than bicycle tool kit. When I bought that one, assembly was easy. Very easy to use. Even with regular shoes on the SPD side can if you want to leave quickly at traffic lights etc. Gets used quickly and soon feels very familiar! Good purchase!

Pros & Cons

Adapts quickly.
Different sides feel natural
Dual function. ATB / normal pedal
Matching Allen key is missing.
