The core of the Liv Thrive 1 is the lightweight aluminium frame, which makes for stable, responsive handling and is impact-resistant. The bike comes with a carbon fork and a D-Fuse seat post. These handle bumps and potholes in the road surface very well to let you cycle comfortably for many hours on end. You also have a women-specific saddle for great continued riding comfort.
Reliable drivetrain
The Shimano 105 drivetrain is very reliable and offers quick and accurate shifting performance. The bike comes with an 11/34 cassette and 22 gears; this gives you a large shifting range and the option to ride on flat as well as hilly terrain. On the descents you can rely on the hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro. These provide excellent braking power in dry as well as wet conditions, and are easy to modulate, which you'll appreciate when riding in busy traffic.
