The basis of the e-bike is a tight and rigid aluminium frame. Koga is known for its rigid frames, which allow for stable and direct steering. The cables are concealed internally in the frame, so they are well protected from bad weather. The riding position is upright, and can be adjusted to suit you with the adjustable stem. Should you need to cross a dirt road during your tour, it is no problem thanks to the suspension in the front fork and seat post. The Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyres are made especially for e-bikes. These tyres deliver great grip and have good puncture resistance.
E-bike technology
The support on this electric touring bike comes from the Bosch Active Line Plus mid-motor. This motor uses three sensors, which allows the motor to support you in a natural way. The motor has a torque of 50Nm, making touring through rolling terrain a possibility. Koga gives you a choice of three different batteries. The 400 Wh battery allows you to do a 65 kilometer round trip. With the 500 Wh battery you will have to recharge it after 80 kilometers, and with the largest battery you can even go over 100 kilometers. You can control the motor with the Bosch Intuvia display. This display shows all basic data well, and is also used to control the light.
Shifting and braking
Shifting is done with the Nexus 8-speed hub from Shimano. These 8 gears have a gearing range of 307 percent, so you will have the right gear at your disposal even with a headwind or an incline. The e-bike uses a belt drive instead of a traditional chain. A belt drive is quieter, stronger and lasts longer than a traditional chain. Braking on this electric bike is done with hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano. These hydraulic disc brakes give the e bike enormous braking power. Even in bad weather, you can rely on the good braking performance of these hydraulic disc brakes.
Other parts
Koga has opted for a Racktime frame integrated carrier rack. This makes it easy to attach a pannier bag or bicycle basket. Park your e-bike easily with the stand and AXA frame lock. For extra security, it is also possible to add an extra cable.

I recommend this bike, you won't regret it.
I actually knew it after two laps in the shop. What a fine bike, I would love to buy it. Before this I had the Koga Inspire, also very nice. But this one rides great! The saddle is great, you don't have to get used to it, it's perfect from the start. Highly recommended.

A bike as you would expect from Koga, almost nothing to criticise. Bit getting used to my first E bike because you sit a bit more upright. It is an extremely stable bike with excellent handling, reacts well to steering, and the finish is very neat. Only the saddle, which could have been different, a Brooks saddle would not be out of place.

Very nice, sturdy, stable, tough e-bike with powerful support!
Bike in my possession for over a week now. The bike rides in 1 word great! No hill/mountain is too high anymore. Because of the combination of different settings + 8 gears, it can be precisely adjusted for the best support at that moment. The position is very pleasant. The brakes give you enough security that no matter how fast you go, you can always brake in time. Nice that the battery is integrated in the frame, this makes the bike look very nice/tough and in terms of stability very stable. Ridden through snow today, this is no problem either. It is an expensive bike, but it shows!
