This Fizik Arione R5 Open saddle is a comfortable saddle which offers good value for money. According to Fizik, this saddle is made for the Snake cyclists. These are cyclists who are nimble and can therefore ride deeper in the drops. Maybe they also refer to racing snakes.
The saddle has a carbon reinforced nylon shell. Due to the addition of carbon, this saddle is stiffer than a saddle with a nylon shell, which means that the power transfer is a lot better.
The Microtex cover also keeps you on the saddle and prevents you from sliding around too much.
The rails of this saddle are made of manganese steel. This construction filters out vibrations well and provides a comfortable cycling experience.
