Description
The Castelli Free Aero RC Pro for men is Castelli's best competition short ever made. This means that this bib short not only guarantees speed but is extremely comfortable as well. You'll love it, even if you never pin a race number on it. It has already been 15 years since the first Free Aero Race bib short was introduced. Since then, this model has only gotten better and has helped pros to win big cycling races. To name just a few: Tour de France 3 times, Giro d'Italia 3 times, Vuelta once.
The concept of the Castelli Free Aero RC Pro is simple. Firstly, Castelli has taken their best seat pad, the Progetto X2 Air Seamless, which offers great saddle comfort during the longest rides. This chamois is surrounded by a supportive short that provides good muscle compression. Other than that, everything that is not absolutely necessary has been eliminated. This has resulted, among other things, in fewer panels and, therefore, fewer seams to reduce the chance of friction. In total, the short itself has only 5 panels.
The Castelli Free Aero RC Pro has minimalist bib straps, which ventilate excellently and remain flat on the shoulders. On the back there is a small, handy pocket. There are raw-cut edges in several places on this bib short: at the waistband, for extra stretch and comfort; the leg ends also have raw-cut edges and stay perfectly in place without the need for an elastic band or grippers. Finally, there are reflective stripes on the backs of the legs, and the graphics and logos are sublimation printed.
With the Castelli Free Aero RC Pro bib short for men, you can race at the highest level and ride comfortably on all other rides.
The Castelli Free Aero RC Pro bib short features the Progetto X2 Air Seamless seat pad. This is a pro-level chamois that provides maximum comfort during long bike rides. The new, seamless Skin Care layer feels soft against the skin and reduces friction during cycling.
