Frame, fork and wheels
The frame of this electric bike is based on that of a mountain bike, resulting in a slightly active riding position. The seat position can be easily adjusted with the adjustable stem. The asymmetric rear fork accommodates a wider tyre of up to 60 mm with studs, making this e-bike very suitable for off-road riding. The tyres also absorb many bumps in the road. The SR Suntour suspension fork with 100 mm travel and suspension seatpost offer even more comfort and better off-road performance.

To make the frame light and sporty, Cannondale uses SmartForm technology, which varies the thickness of the frame tubes. The material is thicker at stress points to keep the frame stiff, while thinner sections keep the frame light. The special Smooth Weld welding technique and heat treatment make for a tough e-bike.

E-bike technology
This e-bike's powerful Bosch Performance Line CX mid-motor delivers 85 Nm, making it easy to conquer sand, gravel and hills. The motor works together with a 625 Wh Powertube battery, resulting in a realistic range of about 105 kilometers on paved roads and about 85 kilometers on dirt roads. This e-bike is therefore suitable for long tours and daily commutes. The Bosch Purion display is Bosch's least comprehensive system, but it clearly displays the most basic information. The system is therefore easy and intuitive to operate.

Shifting and braking
The Cannondale Tesoro Neo X 2 Remixte has Deore gears, commonly used on mid-range mountain bikes. These gears allow you to explore many different surfaces. The rear derailleur offers 11 gears with a cassette that has a ratio of 11-51, giving you a much wider gear range than with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub.

This e-bike's hydraulic disc brakes are powerful and easy to dose, thanks in part to the extra-large 180 mm brake discs. Disc brakes perform equally well in a variety of conditions, so rain does not negatively affect braking performance.
