Description

Description

The BMC UnReStricted LT Two is a high-quality gravel bike that races effortlessly over the gravel.

Comfortable and fast
BMC has designed a real gravel monster here. Good balance and fast handling make this an excellent gravel bike.

If you're looking for a great gravel bike, the BMC UnReStricted LT Two is definitely worth considering.

Technology

Excellent Frame
The basis of this gravel bike is the carbon frame. In this frame the cables are well protected against dirt. BMC used their own Gravel+ geometry for the frame. Optimized for a modern and aggressive riding style, the URS Two's head tube angle provides a long front end and long wheelbase for incredibly stable handling. The carbon fork has 20mm of travel.

Electric gearing
To shift gears on this gravel bike, BMC has opted for the SRAM RIval AXS gear group. This group gives you 12 gears and, by using a huge cassette (10-52T), these 12 gears are enough for all situations. In addition, it has electric shifting which is a bit faster and more precise than with a traditional mechanical shifting group. You can also keep shifting when your derailleur is covered in mud, something that is an important advantage when you tear over the gravel. The hydraulic brakes offer extremely powerful braking performance and excellent modulation. Another advantage of disc brakes is the excellent braking performance in bad weather. On a wet road you can rest assured that the disc brakes will bring you to a stop safely and on time.

Safe through the bends
The BMC URS LT Two has WTB Raddler tires with a thickness of 40 millimeters. These tires are designed to increase confidence while allowing you to gravel to the limit. The tire combines high traction with high efficiency. In addition, the tire has excellent puncture protection.

Multifunctional
The BMC is of course a high-quality gravel monster, but you can also use it less sporty. This gives you the option to screw bags and accessories to the top tube. This makes the bike excellent to use on a rough bikepacking trip.

Super bike at the best price at Mantel.

- Edwin 15 December 2023

I was looking for this particular bike but it is almost impossible to get in the Netherlands and the bike is very expensive. At Mantel they had it in the right size at an outlet price so I couldn't resist. The salesman also helped me well, I know everything about bikes myself so I don't need any advice and the salesman responded well. I bought it on Friday afternoon and collected it on Saturday morning.

Pros & Cons

Carbon wheels very light and therefore direct steering
Electronic shifting is very pleasant
Front and rear suspension gives more comfort
Unique bike that you don't see very often
I will change the 38 front wheel to 42 or 44
slightly heavier due to front suspension
Tyres are really for gravel but not for the road

A very fine ( gravel ) bike.

- L. 7 September 2022

First of all I would like to thank Mantel for the excellent service provided when purchasing this bike. Both in Rotterdam and the customer service department are juggernauts. But now about this bike: I had not ridden a gravel bike before and also had no experience with Sram, although I had experience with carbon frames with the Shimano Di2 system. During the test ride I noticed that both of these systems get used very quickly. Both the BMC gravel geometry and the Sram 1 X 12 wireless shifting system. It is an incredibly fine bike and also beautiful to look at. The 10 mm. micro supension on the angled rear shock and 20 mm. suspension travel on the front fork ensure that you are not completely shaken up while graveling. The high-quality carbon wheels together with the 40 mm. wide tires also do their bit. 45 mm. is possible but then you'd better take the mountain bike I think. This bike should not be compared to a road racer or a mountain bike. The wireless shifting is fine although I still miss the option to set the shifting speed as in the Di2 system. I expect this will be possible in a future update. The exceptional range of the rear sprocket with 10 - 52 provided no problems during heavy loads and always shifted precisely. Due to the large differences between the sprockets, the chain can still sometimes hit it hard, but that is inevitable with a single front sprocket. When riding on asphalt, you are always in the higher gears. The brakes have to be squeezed a little further than I am used to, but are of course more than adequate. The aluminum handlebars with a 16 degree flare are nice, although I would have liked the brackets to be a bit thicker, but that can be compensated with a different (thicker) handlebar tape. Seat post ( D-shape carbon ) and saddle are also fine. All in all a very nice bike that I will certainly enjoy for years to come. L.

Pros & Cons

Carbon wheels.
Electronic wireless shifting
Incredible range of 10 -52 rear.
Micro suspension front and rear
Nice light carbon frame.
Double front blade would not be a luxury.
