Description
The tube is made using natural cotton and protected with a neoprene treatment against moisture. This makes applying Aquasure like you had to before something of the past. In short, a handmade racing tube for all-round use. For more muddy conditions you can move to the Dugast Rhino, and with really muddy terrain you could even use a Dugast Ernst.
Technology
• Tyre pressure: 1,8 - 3,5 bar• Neoprene protection against moisture
• Latex inner tube
• Weight: 380 grams

Great intermediate tyre, enough grip on the corners not too much rolling resistance on the road.
I used these tyres in Belgium on a mixed surface cyclocross course. They handled well on the slippy off cambers, but on the road sections they didn’t feel to heavy when compared to a mud tyres such as a Rhino. The only con is the fact that the tubular tyres tend to rot over time as water gets in through the layers of cotton, however this can be solved by using the aquasure product from Dugast. Overall a great tyre.

Reliable all round Tubular
A very good Tubular for most UK cross races, I use these Tubulars the most and only have to switch to all out mud Tubs on some occasions.
