The Powertap P1S is comparable to the Powertap P1. The only difference is that the electronics are in the left pedal and not in the right. This makes sure the price of this powermeter will go down, and it is also lighter than the Powertap P1. The power is not measured by means of two pedals but only 1. This number is doubled, so it offers the whole measurement.
These are not just pedals. The P1S pedal has a simple, intelligent, and uncompromising design with proven accuracy and reliability of PowerTap. In contrast to the rivals you can easily mount the simple one-piece design to your crankset, without using callibrations or torque wrenches. The pedals are truly "plug-and-play". They also work problemless with oval chainrings because it measures 40 times per rotation. The P1S pedals offer both ANT+ as well as Bluetooth Smart connection, so you can use many head units to read the data.
The pedals are delivered with the Red Look Keo cleats, which have 6 degree play. The cleats are compatible with all shoes with 3-hole pattern on the sole.
