The Enduro Bearings Abec 5 Angular bearings are the bearings used in a BB30 Bottom bracket system. The dimensions are 30 x 42 x 7 mm. With the Enduro Bearings ABEC 5 bearings you get bearings of military level. Enduro has years of experience in making bearings for industrial applications. You will notice that with these extremely smooth running Enduro Bearings ABEC 5 ball bearings. These bearings are treated with a high quality teflon lubricant (Rheolube 374A) for a low rolling resistance and a long life span.

Most ABEC 5 bearings are fitted with SRS seals. This seal can be lifted with a knife tip, making maintenance of the bearings quick and easy. The seal against water and dirt remains guaranteed. ABEC 5 bearings must pass many tests; noise at high speed, very close tolerances regarding accuracy of inner and outer diameter, perfect spherical shape, accuracy of the track and the finish of both track and ball. Abec 5 bearings are available in many sizes and are therefore suitable for almost any wheel.

GRADE
Balls are classified according to their grade. A Grade 5 balls means that its tolerance in terms of sphericity is 5/1,000,000 and as such it is extremely round. Another characteristic of a Grade 5 ball is a surface finish of less than 0.005 microns which, in this case, means very tight tolerances. The lower the grade, the better the quality of the ball.

ABEC
A standard value used to measure the tolerance of the surface of rolling bearings. There are five classes: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. The higher the ABEC class, the greater the precision, efficiency and speed capacity, but the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest rotating parts. All quality products around the world use at least the ABEC 1 as standard. With Enduro, the minimum standard is ABEC 3. The Enduro Bearings ABEC 5 bearings have standard ABEC 5.
