Thanks to its enormous aerodynamic shape the helmet looks also very fast. The last two years a lot has changed in designing a helmet. Whereby the first focus is placed on ventilaton/comfort, after that the aerodynamics became more important. But now they have combined these two. The focus on the aero helmets made BBB think. They could imagine this aerodynamic whish, but feld that the aerodynamics was at the expense of the comfort, because of the reduced ventilation.

With the use of the AED (Advanced Embodiment Design) team, from the TU Delft (technical university) they have started with the investigation of the thermodynamic and aerodynamic properties of other race helmets. Whereby the ideal balance between a low air resistance and perfect ventilation stood central. Eventually has BBB in little more than a year completed his mission, and the came with the Tithon! An optimal mix of speed and comfort. Or as the professional riders call it; "Free speed".
