This is a great training device. View your training data, such as heart rate, speed, distance and altitude, at a glance on the large format colour touch screen. Together with the Polar Flow Webservice you plan your sessions, you get guidance to achieve your goals and you get even more out of your training. The Polar V650N offers many features that help you train better. The V650N has 3 profiles for bikes and one more profile for another sport, which can be set as desired. There are 6 training views per profile, which contain an additional 8 data fields per view.

It is possible to load maps on your V650N, which allows you to know and see exactly where you are! These OpenStreetMaps can be downloaded for free, and can be selected per ‘box’ of 450x450 km in your V650N. Then connect the V650N to your Polar Flow Account and the detailed map material will automatically be downloaded to the V650N. The built-in GPS follows your bike speed, distance and route. The functions “Back to Start” and “Route Tracking” help you to go all the way back to the start of your track. Besides, it is also possible to load and ride GPX and TCX routes.

The Polar V650N allows Polar Flow users to have Strava Live Segments at their disposal. It allows you to compare your PB, KOM, QOM, CR etc. with the performance of other Strava Live Segments users. In addition, Polar Flow offers advanced Cycling Power data from Training Peaks and an improved altitude measurement via the barometric altimeter and GPS. It accurately records data such as ascent / descent as well as slope and VAM (Vertical Ascent in Meters) or your climbing speed when using the speed sensor. This data is also used to calculate your calorie consumption.

Polar Flow calculates your recovery period and achieves an optimal balance between resting and training. Immediately after the training you will receive motivating feedback about the effect of your training. Using is Polar V650N is mostly intuitive and simple. An LED has been integrated at the front, which makes you more visible in low light conditions. It can be switched on automatically at twilight or activated manually.
