The Trek Supercaliber 9.6 short-travel cross-country bike bridges the gap between hardtail and full-sus competition bikes thanks to the integrated IsoStrut suspension.
Built for speed and technical trails
With the Supercaliber 9.6, Trek has developed a mountain bike where you don't have to choose between a hardtail and a fully. This MTB brings the advantages of both types together in one amazing super bike that rolls over the most technical obstacles with speed and ease!
So if you're not sure whether you should go for a hardtail or a fully, this Trek mountain bike is perfect for you!
With 60 mm of suspension travel, the rear shock offers better grip and control than a hardtail, plus the Supercaliber is less complex and lighter than a traditional full-suspension mountain bike.
Flexible and strong
Trek's own OCLV Mountain Carbon provides the right balance between flexibility and strength in the pivotless seat stay, and the Straight Shot down tube adds extra stiffness for responsive handling. Knock Block protects the frame from the handlebars tilting against it, and there is clearance for two bottle cages in the frame.

For the Supercaliber 9.6, Trek has selected Shimano SLX/Deore parts, ensuring smooth, easy and reliable shifting in all conditions. The brakes are easy to control and provide plenty of braking power on steep descents.
