The Cube Travel Pro is a versatile bike. The lightweight frame has mounting points for bottle cages, which can be convenient for long rides. And lowrider racks can be mounted to the front fork to turn the bike into a trekking bike for a nice holiday. But this sporty hybrid bike is also perfect for everyday use. A ride to the supermarket or the daily commute to work, this bike will get you there just a bit faster.
Whichever type of cyclist you are, you can use the Cube Travel Pro for any purpose.
Cube, of course, is best known for sports bikes. The knowledge they gain in developing those is also applied to their city bikes. Thus, the frame of this bike is both stiff and lightweight, resulting in an easy to ride, responsive bike. As such, the Travel Pro is very suitable for a cycling holiday. And as it weighs just over 15 kg, you can easily cover great distances. Attach lowrider racks to the front fork and you have even more luggage space. As this bike has been designed for long and relatively smooth rides, it gives you an active sitting position which has you leaning slightly forward. The non-suspension seatpost and front fork also ensure easy handling. This bike is, therefore, very suitable for keen world explorers but slightly less so for touring riders who value ultimate comfort. That being said, the 55 mm tyres do absorb many shocks from bumps and rough road surfaces.

With a Gates CDN belt drive and a Shimano Nexus 8 speed hub, the Cube Travel Pro requires very little maintenance. A belt drive has great aspects such as being very durable and not being affected by dirt. As a result, it keeps running smoothly in any circumstances. The Nexus 8 hub has a 307% range, which allows you to climb hills with ease. However, climbing mountains is not recommended. Going downhill with this bike, then, is no problem as the hydraulic disc brakes provide a good amount of braking power and good modulation to enable you to come to a stop quickly.
Suitable for daily use
This hybrid bike is not only suitable for long rides or cycling holidays but also for everyday use. With a stable luggage rack, lights powered by a hub dynamo and sturdy mudguards, the Cube Travel Pro is a great city bike. Please note: It does not come with a lock, which will have to be purchased separately.
