Description
The Cube Kathmandu SL is one of the most beautiful hybrid bikes in our assortment. The finish of the frame and carrier are very appealing. And the good parts on this Kathmandu, make sure it also rides very well. This makes it a fine bike for longer recreational rides, cycling holidays and for longer commute rides.
The frame of the Kathmandu SL is exactly as you would expect from a hybrid. Relaxed yet sporty. And the handlebar height can be adjusted with the stem and spacers if you like. Some more comfort comes from the suspension fork. This keeps your wrists nice and relaxed. A real benefit if you use the bike a lot or are into long, sporty rides.
The rest of the bike is more focused on sportive and smooth riding. It is not for nothing that the Shimano XT groupset is one of the most popular groupsets among mountain bikers. It always shifts very precisely. And with the 30 gears you it can handle any terrain. You have enough gears for the steepest mountains. Moreover, the hydraulic disc brakes have also been copied from mountain biking. These offer an enormous amount of braking power. Real nice when you suddenly have to make an emergency stop in heavy traffic.
The hub dynamo provides a lot of light, so you can continue riding in the dark. The stand and the nice luggage carrier complete this hybrid.
