The Oakley ARO5 is made for speed and nerve-racking sprints on your bike. This cycling helmet combines great aerodynamics with incredible comfort. This makes the helmet suitable for intense training, but also for more laid-back cycling trips.
The shell of the Oakley ARO5 has built-in MIPS. The MIPS system is a low-friction layer between the EPS core and the padding, which uses an array of elasticated attachments. This allows the helmet to move slightly during a crash (rotate and slide) in relation to your head, thereby absorbing more of the forces caused by said crash. This provides additional protection.
The Oakley ARO5 cycling helmet has multiple vents, which keeps your head cool in warm weather. The shell is made of lightweight polycarbonate, which allows you to easily store your glasses. X-static material is used in the padding of this bike helmet. This material repels bacteria, keeping your head fresh for longer. To ensure the helmet fits your head, you can use the BOA adjustment dial. This creates an excellent fit and a comfortable feel. Another unique property of this cycling helmet is the integrated eyewear dock. This dock allows you to safely store your cycling glasses when you're not using them.
