SQlab 621 M-D Line Active Saddle

SQlab's 621 M-D line Active saddles are very comfortable saddles for city bikes. They offer great comfort and relief of sensitive areas for short to medium distance rides. The design with one raised section at the rear of the saddle increases the support of your posterior considerably, allowing maximum relief for your perineum and pubic bone.

With the Active system you can adjust this saddle to achieve the desired amount of cushioning. The seat bones do not sag far, which makes the M-D saddles feel soft without having the disadvantages of a soft padding. The nose of the M-D saddles is lowered to create more space for the perineum and pubic bone. Thus, pressure on softer tissues is relieved to prevent chafing or a dull feeling in the pubic area. Thanks to the large recess this saddle is suitable for cyclists with an enlarged prostate.

Technology

M-D Line
SQlab's M-D Line stands for Maximised Dip, which refers to the difference in height between the rear and the centre of the saddle. The raised back section causes the body weight to be distributed so that the pressure is not on the most sensitive parts of the posterior. These saddles are especially designed for cyclists with a very sensitive seat, perineum or pubic bone. In addition, M-D Line saddles provide maximum relief for cyclists with an enlarged prostate.

Active technology
SQlab's Active technology consists of an exchangeable elastomer in the back section of the saddle. This elastomer allows the saddle to follow your natural cycling movement; your lower vertebrae are mobilised, and the pressure on your seat bones is reduced. This movement causes the muscles and vertebrae to be used during cycling, reducing the risk of pain developing in the lower back. This makes SQlab saddles with Active technology very comfortable.
