Description

Description

The Scott Addict 30 is a high-quality carbon road bike ideally suited for longer rides.

Fast and comfortable on the go
Scott has created a light and comfortable frame. So you'll be speeding even when on long rides.

Are you looking for a high-quality road bike with good value for money. Then definitely give the Scott Addict 30 a try.

Technology

Excellent geometry
The core of this road bike is its carbon frame. This frame is designed with an emphasis on comfort. For that comfort, Scott uses their proprietary Evo-Lap technology. This technology has been used to develop a light and stiff frame for direct and stable handling through corners. The cables go through the frame, so they are well protected from bad weather conditions. Another important feature is the seating position, which is geared toward comfort and long rides. For that extra bit of comfort, Scott also uses a carbon fork, it dampens the worst road vibrations.

High quality shifting and braking
The 105 Shimano groupset shifts smoothly and quickly and this groupset is very durable. The cassette is an 11-32, which gives you a wide shifting range that is great for when you need to climb. For the descent, you can then rely on the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These deliver enormous braking power, even when the road surface is wet. Another advantage of hydraulic disc brakes is that they are easy to modulate, so you can dose the braking well.

Wheel set
The wheels on this bike can be found under many Scott models. These wheels offer the ideal balance between weight and plenty of grip. The rim is tubeless ready, so you can ride tubeless once you are up to changing to other tyres. This reduces the risk of punctures and lowers rolling resistance.

5 / 5

Beautiful to see, wonderful to ride on.

- Guus 30 April 2023

Bike is very nice to look at, already received several comments about how nice the frame is in terms of color and how the cables are tucked away. Also very happy with it in terms of riding, maybe a little distorted as my previous bike is considerably older.
