The core of the Lapierre XRM 8.9 is the lightweight carbon frame. With a 66-degree head angle, this is one of the most progressive cross country and marathon full suspension mountain bikes. By using this carbon, the MTB is very light and stiff, allowing you to steer very stable and direct. The cables run through the frame, so they are well protected from splashing mud and other dirt. The fork consists of a FOX 34 Float Factory 3 Air Grip 3 damper, with 3 different lockout modes. The FOX FLOAT Factory DPS, Perf-Series Remote up also features 3 different adjustment modes, allowing you to adjust the mtb as personally and efficiently as possible. It doesn't get any better than this in this class.

Shimano XT/Deore drivetrain for shifting. With these parts you will always shift quickly and very reliably. The mountain bike comes with 12 gears and a 10-51 cassette. This gives the mtb a huge gear range, so that you can reach the top of the steepest hills in the right gear. Thanks to the single-speed crank, you don't have to worry about losing your chain. Moreover, the mtb is also a lot lighter and has powerful Shimano XT brakes. that work great even in bad conditions. On top of that, the brakes grip hard and powerfully suited to experienced riders with an aggressive riding style.
Grippy tyres
The tyres on this mtb are the Maxxis Rekon EXO Race tyre at the back and an ardent Race 3C Maxxspeed at the front. This tyre combination offers an excellent mix of low rolling resistance, plenty of grip and excellent puncture protection.
