Description
With the Makki Load, Gazelle enters the world of electric cargo bikes. And they do so with verve. This is the stylish and safe way to transport your kids.
Meets the needs of both parent and child
The Gazelle Makki Load is designed with the wishes of parents and children in mind. For example, the box has been given a high rim to provide extra safety for kids. But since they did want to be able to get in easily, a low step has been created with a 'step' to get in. There is also a rear seat, which can comfortably accommodate 2 children. Of course, those seats are fitted with straps. This way, mum and dad have the desired safety and the kids their nice seat.
Powerful e-bike technology
The motor, battery, bin and control components are all neatly integrated into the frame. This makes this family bike strong and stable. However, the robust frame and sturdy cargo box do make this a fairly heavy cargo bike. Therefore, it needs a powerful motor to get up to speed quickly. With the 65Nm Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor, you have enough torque to move forward up to a total weight of 250kg. There are also 2 battery variants available with this electric cargo bike, namely a 400Wh and a 500Wh battery. Both batteries have enough capacity for short daily rides. However, the 500Wh variant also makes it easier to take the whole family out for a day trip.
Ideally equipped for big loads
For a powerful electric cargo bike, not every type of gearing is suitable. However, the Enviolo Cargo internal hub gear is perfect for this. This hub can easily handle heavy loads. Since this hub has infinitely variable gearing, you will always have the right gear at your disposal. Furthermore, this bike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. This gives you plenty of braking power, which increases safety.
Full of tricks
The Gazelle Makki Load has many features that make it an ideal electric cargo bike. For example, there is a double stand, which allows you to put the bike down very stably. Handy is that this is a kickstand, which you can fold while sitting on the bike. Furthermore, a luggage carrier is fitted as standard and good lighting and a bell have not been forgotten. As a result, this family bike is very well-equipped and you and your family will be able to ride through traffic in a pleasant way.
