Oh yes, this Cube mountain bike is all about speed! With its carbon frame, fork and quality components, it is a machine for maximum speed. It is a bike for tomorrow's champions!
It won't get any faster than with the Cube Elite 240 C:62 SL.
The frame of this mountain bike is made of light and stiff C:62 carbon. The non-suspension fork is also made of this material. The result is a particularly lightweight bike that weighs a mere 6.7 kg. The young speed demon will absolutely feel this. It is what makes this Cube Elite 240 one of the best mountain bikes currently available for young competition racers.
Quality components
For quick and accurate gear changing, Cube has selected the SRAM GX / e*thirteen XCX Plus 1x11 speed drivetrain. Add the 9-34T cassette, and a wide gear range is guaranteed. The jumps between gears may feel a bit big though. The very good Magura MT8 Pro hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of braking power in all conditions and circumstances. They are also easy to modulate.
Lightweight wheelset
The awesome Newmen XA 25 wheelset comes with Schwalbe's light Rocket Ron tyres. These may well be Schwalbe's best all-round XC tyres, offering the perfect balance between traction and speed!
