The gravel bike's core is its aluminum frame. This frame is light and stiff, for direct and stable handling. The cables are integrated into the frame, for protection from gravel and other dirt. The frame is specifically designed for gravel riding, it has a long front end and wheelbase for great stability. If in need for just that extra bit of comfort, a carbon fork is added. This fork handles unevenness in the road surface, so you can tear through the gravel at high speed.
Shifting and braking
The URS AL Three features a gravel-specific Shimano GRX shift system. This gear group is durable and shifts smoothly, even in tough conditions. You have access to 20 gears and an 11-36 cassette. This gives you a large shifting range, so you can beat your cycling friends even when the hills are steep. For the descents, you can rely on Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These disc brakes deliver excellent braking performance, even in adverse conditions. In addition, these brakes are excellent to modulate, so you can brave the descent with confidence.
