The Isostar High Energy Bar is the perfect bar for replenishing your carbohydrate reserves before or during exercise. The carbohydrates in the Isostar High Energy Bar consist of a mix of simple and complex carbohydrates. Simple carbohydrates consist of short chains and can be broken down by the body quickly, thus providing energy soon after consumption. Complex carbohydrates are broken down more slowly, resulting in a longer duration of energy. This combination provides a sustained and gradual flow of energy, which is ideal during a bike ride and will prevent you hitting the proverbial wall!

Rich in vitamins!
The Isostar High Energy Bars are also rich in vitamins. Vitamins C, E and B2 contribute to the antioxidant protection of cell components. Vitamins B1 and PP help convert food into energy.

Technologie

Recommended use: Ideal for consumption before or during exercise, or as a snack between meals. Open, eat and enjoy!

Recommended dosage: The depletion of carbohydrate reserves during exercise is one of the main causes of fatigue. Carbohydrate supplementation prior to and during the effort can improve (cycling) performance. If the effort lasts longer than 90 minutes, it is recommended to consume extra carbohydrates: 1 to 2 energy bars per hour or 1 energy bar plus other sports nutrition products up to a total intake of 60 grams of carbohydrates per hour. A frequently used strategy is to consume energy bars during the less intense phases of the workout. The digestion process of energy bars requires a higher blood circulation compared to other sports nutrition products.

Storage advice: Store in a cool, dry place (15-22ºC). Keep out of reach of children.

Not suited for: Isostar energy bars are not suited for coeliakie-free or gluten-free diets. The product contains lactose, wheat, gluten, milk, soy and traces of nuts and seeds.
